invites applications for the position in DBT sponsored
project entitled “Global profiling and significance
of alternative splicing events regulated by polypyrimidine
tract binding protein 2 (PTBP2) in the advanced stages of chronic myeloid
leukemia”
Name of the position : Laboratory Technician (02 Nos)
Eligibility and Selection: Candidates having B.Sc. in
Biotechnology/Zoology/ Microbiology/Physiology/Life Sciences and working
experience in research labs (handling blood samples/mice/PCR technology) are
only encouraged to apply.
Emoluments: Rs. 18000/- per month
(consolidated) without HRA
Upper age limit: 28 years

candidate will not have any right to claim explicit or implicit for any post in
Institute of Life Sciences. The initial appointment will be made for one year
which is extendable year to year basis after satisfactory performance for a
maximum period of five years. Only names of short listed candidates will be
published in the Institute website. The date of the interview will be declared
in the Institute website. The appointment will co-terminate with the
termination of the project. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
The decision of the Director regarding selection of the candidates will be
final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
