Walk–in–Interview for JRF Position

A Walk in interview for the JRF position tenable for a period of three years or till the end of the project period in the DBT, Govt. of India sponsored research project (6242-P21/RGCB/PMD/DBT/PMDK/2015) entitled ‘Drug discovery from medicinal plants: Anti-cancer effect of Grewia tiliaefolia Vahl (Tiliaceae) leaf extracts’ will be held at the Department of Biotechnology, Alagappa University, Karaikudi 630 004 on 28.9.2015 (Monday) at 10. 00 AM.

Qualification: First Class M.Sc., in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Pharmacology/Microbiology or M.Tech. in Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognized University, preferably with research experience in the relevant area.

NET/GATE qualified candidates will be given preference.

Fellowship: Rs 16,000 pm for the first 2 years and Rs 18,000 pm for the third year
