Employment Notice for “Walk-in-interview” Tea Board of India, Govt. of India, requires a qualified and experienced Project Assistant for National Tea Research Foundation (NTRF) Funded Research Project entitled “Studies on Residues of Certain New Generic Molecules in Tea”.

 

The eligible candidates may appear for the walk-in-interview on 18th June, 2016 (Saturday) at 10:00 AM along with their complete bio-data.

 

Project assistant (One post)

Not more than 32 years as on 01.01.2016

Purely on temporary basis. Initially for one year which may be extended based on performance

Rs. 20,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

 

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Entomology/ Biotechnology

 

Desirable: Experience on field trial experiment related to pest and pesticides. The candidate has to discharge any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Competent Authority Tea Board & NTRF.

Job Description:

Purpose of the Position of Trainee Biotechnologist (Quality Control) - Analysis of In­process and Finished Product samples (Immunodiagnostic Laboratory)

 

 

·         Responsible for analysis of In-process and Finished Product samples as per approved specification and standard testing procedures.

·         Responsible for analysis of Stability samples of Finished Products as per approved protocol.

·         Responsible for analysis of Stability samples of in process components as per approved protocol.

·         To maintain all logbooks in relevant section as per approved procedure.

·         Responsible for calibration/validation of instruments in Immunodiagnostic laboratory.

·         To report any non conformity/incident or failure immediate to her superior for further action.

·         To prepare analysis reports of all products on daily basis.

·         To initiate DCR/Change control for any change related to in process components/ finished product testing/Immunodiagnostic laboratory.

·         To prepare the method validations protocols and execute as per the instructions given by the supervisor

·         To prepare the testing procedures and specification related to product testing and review the same as on required.

·         Functional Reporting shall be as per Departmental organogram.

·         Any other task assigned by Reporting Manager/Seniors.

 

Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology

Experience: 0-2 years

Location: Delhi , Delhi/NCR(National Capital Region)

Lab Analysts & Scientific Officers Required for BEDF

Basmati Export Development Foundation (BEDF) requires for its Farm & state -of the -art Laboratory situated at the campus of SVP University of Agriculture & Technology, Modipuram, U.P. :

(i)                Two Lab Analysts for Chemical Testing Lab to work with GC MS/LC MS MS/ICP MS. Candidates with MSc Chemistry, preferably with Analytical Chemistry with one year experience of working with these equipments may apply.

(ii)              Two Scientific Officer for Seed Production at Demonstration and Training Farm. Candidates with MSc Agriculture (Plant Breeding/ Genetics/Agronomy/Plant Protection) with relevant experience of 1-2 years may apply.

Number of Vacancies

Number of vacancies in both the categories is 2 each. However, the final number of candidates selected may vary at the time of the selection process based on change in the requirement.

Period of Engagement

These positions are for engagement on contract basis. Intially the contract will be for a period of one year. Contract would be extended for a period 3 years on the basis of performance and conduct.

Remuneration

Remuneration offered will be commensurate with experience. It may vary between Rs.25,000/- to Rs.50,000/- per month which would a consolidated amount. Annual increment would be considered for those whose contract is extended at the end of 1 year.
